14ounceskielbasasliced into thin pieces
1/2medium yellow oniondiced
3teaspoonsCajun seasoning
1teaspoonoregano
Salt and pepperto taste
3 clovesgarlicminced
1(14.5-ounce) candiced tomatoes
2cupsmilk
2cupschicken broth
12ouncesfarfalle pasta
1/2cupfreshly grated parmesan
Instructions
Cut kielbasa into thin slices, about 1/4 inch each, and dice the onion.
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium high heat.
Add kielbasa, onion, Cajun seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, milk, chicken broth, and farfalle. Press the farfalle so they are submerged in the liquid. Add more chicken broth if needed to cover the noodles.
Bring to a boil. Once at a boil, cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese a little at a time (this will help to prevent it from clumping).
To thicken the sauce, allow the pasta to sit covered for about 5 minutes.
Serve with extra grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
